I am a critical care nurse, a travel nurse, a travel lover, a dog lover, a dog mom, an introvert (although at work, you'd guess I am extroverted), an empath, an INFJ, a truth seeker, a dreamer, a deeply serious soul with a wicked sense of humor, an aunt, a friend, a daughter, and a sister. These are my thoughts and experiences about nursing and life. I have changed quite a bit since starting this blog, but to honor where I have been and where I am going I have kept all my entries whether or not they are memories that I want to keep. My goal in life is to obtain inner peace, be the change, and mostly to be a beautiful soul! Namaste, my friends!!

Writing before 10am is a bad idea for me....

So...I got up at 4:30am to take my roommate to the airport which is fine and all, but I think I've had WAY too much DP (Dr. Pepper for those who don't know what DP stands for) and now I'm a bit wired and a tad bit sick, so I decided to write this and obviously create long run-on sentences in the process....ha. I think I went to bed after 1am too. Ouch! The danger of having this blog is that it's free to the public eye now...so I will have to use my nicknames for everyone that I want to talk about and not name. So for those who don't know what I'm referring to, you'll just have to see my nicknames list on Myspace under my blogs there. That is, if you are cool enough to be my friend on there :-P. I would just copy and paste my blogs from there, but like I said, that's far too dangerous for the public to have free access to. I'm not sure any of this is going to make sense, but let's be honest...I may not EVER make sense. I write like I talk (so read with heavy emphasis on the sarcasm, I'm good at it) and if you don't know me well, you'll probably be offended by my somewhat blunt manner. Sorry, but not really. Hence, the title "Did I Say That Out Loud?!?" That's my theme line!!! I say that a lot, because most of what I say probably shouldn't be said out loud, unfortunately. I've changed A LOT in the past year and in the process have come to care less and less about what people think, which is good and bad in different ways. Despite what I may write on here...I do actually have a heart and I'm really a compassionate and very empathetic (very different from sympathetic) person, but you may never see that side of me...unless you're my patient, of course (I'm in nursing school). Maybe that's why I'm like this all the time because the time that I spend in the hospital I'm so emotionally involved and so serious that the rest of the time I don't really want to be....then again, maybe not. I have no idea. It's entirely too early to be contemplating deep thoughts like that. Seriously....writing anything before 10am (but especially before 7am, which it is) and after 12am is a really bad idea for me even though I'm very much a night person. I know this by experience. So if this makes no sense, well, I'm sorry, but not really. I think I said that already, ok...I'm going back to bed...good grief.
